Joining In and Getting Involved

We currently run one Beaver colony, one Cub pack and one Scout troop, each of which are actively open to new members. Our Beavers and Cubs are running close to capacity, so please get in contact to double check there are spaces.

We also welcome interest from any over 18s who are looking to volunteer, either as an occasional helper, or as sectional leaders and assistants. All uniformed leaders in the UK are required to complete some training (detailed here), but the rest of the team and the District's training advisors will support you through this process.

If you're aged 18 - 25, why not also join Scout Network?

Scout Network is the activity section for young people aged 18-25, which allows young adult volunteers to continue Scouting activities, away from their volunteering commitments.

Alongside the other activity sections, there are opportunities to gain the Top Awards in Scouting, including the Queen Scout Award and the Explorer Belt. More information can be found on the District website - www.scouts-exeter.org.uk/network, or by emailing network@scouts-exeter.org.uk.
